Hi! I’m Ettienne Sanjamino, a curious and open-minded person committed to creating a lasting positive impact during my time on this planet. From a young age, I’ve always felt a deep connection to everyone around me—my family, friends, plants, and animals. Empathy has been a natural part of me; it was something I simply knew, without needing to be taught. I grew up immersed in the arts, becoming a classically trained pianist and violinist. My musical journey not only taught me to master two beautiful instruments but also equipped me with essential life skills like time management, organization, and discipline.

My previous work experience spans several industries, each of which provided me with the skills I utilize as a UX designer today. Working in a restaurant taught me to anticipate customer needs and quickly adapt to unforeseen challenges. As an administrative assistant, managing CEO schedules and communicating quickly and clearly allowed me to work with individuals across several departments improving my collaboration skills. In my role as a CSR at a bank, attention to detail was crucial, as there’s no room for error when handling people’s finances.

I am currently pursuing a degree in Psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. However, I realized that my original career plans wouldn’t satisfy my need for creativity. This realization led me to explore new professions which led me to the exciting field of UX Design. All of my professional and personal experiences have shaped the designer I am today, equipping me with the knowledge and skills to create beautiful and impactful designs that drive meaningful change.
